To win the heart of his pretty neighbor, Audrey, Ted will escape Thneedville a totally artificial world where all vegetation has disappeared, to go in search of a living tree. Ted will meet the Gash-robber, an old hermit embittered recluse in his cabin in the middle of nowhere, and discover the legend of the Lorax, the grumpy-looking creature that lives in the crisp beautiful valley Truffala and fight hard to protect nature. With the help of her grandmother, Grandma Norma, Ted will have to avoid the pitfalls of O'Hare and his minions to bring Audrey to the last seed of living tree in the world.Unknowingly, the boy will transform the destiny of Thneedville.

Last production studio behind the inevitable movie Me, Despicable 3D , The Lorax a fable proves to be ecologically simplistic but endearing. In a future where urban vegetation and nature have disappeared, it follows the quest of a child in search of original tree through a narrative tracing the causes of the current situation. If we put aside childish militant approach of history, we let ourselves go easily through the adventures of the protagonists. Some passages a little irritating musical style (see the last Happy Feet 2 3D ) make you want to speed up the band, but the rest is good! The story, however, did not magnetism cartoons as the excellent Monsters vs Aliens and Megamind 3D .

Image and depth:
The image quality appears superb. The colors are warm, deep blacks, vibrant color palette permanently, with little loss of brightness compared to the 2D version. The depth is very good and at the same level as other referents 3D cartoon of the moment. Its level is constant throughout the film, and shows impressive forests. It peaked at the end of the film in a chase scene. It may just regret that in some sequences, the backgrounds are too blurred or reflect an aspect 2D can damage the superb work depth in a film like A Monster in Paris 3D Blu-ray , this feature does not shock because melted into the overall design and general graphic paw, but The Lorax 3D, you can find it sometimes denotes backgrounds and some do not honor the excellent level of detail sets midway, see spurts. Finally the level of detachment between the elements remains perfect!

Pop-out:
The real surprise of the film is placed in spurts. It is a hymn permanent outpouring which the viewer is confronted with a rate of exploitation and utilization of all these great effects, even a notch above the last hit Journey to the Center of the Earth 2 3D blu-ray . In fact not only the overflow is omnipresent in the film, but spurts are all their forms are used with a variety and exceptional speed. All that could come out of the wall (or screen) out generously, trees, branches, heads of characters who come together and find themselves in the middle of the room looking at you straight in the face, arms and hands outstretched that link complement in spurts permanent, and throughout the film at regular intervals, of subtle projections of all kinds of objects in the direction of the couch. It also has cult scenes and demo as a top already down to subjective in rapids and waterfalls, or to chase subjective loading in an aircraft flying at high speed through the streets of the city. The beginning of the film also offers a generous scene driving a radio controlled helicopter spouted total moving around the room. It is just impossible to list the hundreds of bursts present during the 1:27 film.

Final 3D Evaluation:
Cult for 3D enthusiasts, and on a purely technical level. The story may seem overpowering for some, or a gradual interest in the narration for others (my case). But what a deluge of 3D effects beautifully integrated into the story to support the action! For one of the few times the wealth effects of bursts and their varieties (mini, medium and large) eventually even make you notice them less after 45 minutes, so there! While a majority of the film, the use of a gushing will prove to be a compelling feat Lorax 3D eventually give you the impression that it is normal to have regular and different kinds, as well as the effects of detachment and depth. A nice demonstration, we expect to see other productions more immersive scenarios!
